Bus Service

Bus Service is provided by MJUSD for students living within the city limits.  Students must ride the same bus every day.  If a student must ride another bus on a particular day, he/she is required to bring a note from home and have it approved by the office before leaving school.  Office personnel will also call a parent/guardian to verify the bus change.  “Bus transportation is a privilege extended only to students who display good conduct while preparing to ride, riding or leaving the bus.  Continued disorderly conduct or persistent refusal to submit to the authority of the driver shall be sufficient reason for a student to be denied transportation.”  BP 5131.1.   A late “Activities Bus” runs from LHS Monday through Thursday evenings to select areas.  For more information, call 749-6198.
