Luis Martinez is a Lindhurst graduate of the class of 2008 where he made his mark over the course of four years here as an outstanding student athlete in soccer and football. In his graduating year he chosen as the Appeal Democrat All Area Co-player of the year after leading the Blazers to the Sac Joaquin Section Division VI Title. Luis was recently married to Monica Delgado, where they reside in Oklahoma City, OK.
After graduating from Lindhurst, he continued his education at Chico State University where he studied Kinesiology and continued to sharpen his soccer skills. His love was always soccer and he achieved many personal goals eventually being recruited to play professional soccer where he continues to play for the Oklahoma City Energy FC.
Students and staff acknowledge that Luis was an excellent student with a strong sense of school spirit. We are so proud that he began his journey here and that we are able to call him a Blazer for Life. His work ethic and dedication to be his best are an inspiration to all those who follow in his footsteps.
