Bob Kiser

Lifetime Recognition

An influential and large part of the community, Bob Kiser, has dedicated over 50 years to the students and schools in the Marysville Joint Unified School District.

Mr. Kiser was hired as a teacher at Foothill Intermediate in 1966 and transferred to Yuba Gardens Middle School in 1967.   In addition to his teaching assignment, he became an integral part of the Student Body by leading Associated Student Body and teaching students about  leadership, public speaking, and fundraising.  Along with this, he coached a variety of sports from basketball, track, and  football here at Lindhurst High School.  Wherever there was a need, Mr. Kiser was willing to volunteer his time and energy to support the students.  When Lindhurst High School was opened he was one of the first to help out by assisting as a coach and organizing the LHS Booster Club.

Throughout the years, Mr. Kiser has never seemed to slow down and  has continued to be involved with the students long after his retirement.  Thank you, Mr. Kiser, for all your years of service and dedication to the youth of this community.
